EU4LGBT is an independent, informational resource hub about the European Union — how it works, what it means for your rights as a citizen, and why it matters if you’re LGBT.
Who this is for
This site is written for a general audience across EU member and candidate states, with a particular focus on the LGBT community. No prior knowledge of EU institutions or law is assumed.
What this site is not
EU4LGBT is not an official EU institution, and nothing here is legal advice. Where it matters, we link out to the official source — an EU institution’s own site, the Charter of Fundamental Rights, or a relevant NGO — so you can verify anything for yourself.
How to use it
Start with “The EU Explained” if the Union’s structure is new to you, or jump straight to the Resource Library if you already know what you’re looking for.
